Items can be borrowed from libraries outside the
San Joaquin Valley Library System (SJVLS) by requesting an interlibrary loan. Borrowers must have
a current Mariposa County Library card.
Fees for interlibrary loans are $10 per request for items within California libraries, and $15 per request for items from out-of-state, due when item is requested.
If the item is not available via ValleyCat, an interlibrary loan may be requested either in the library or by phone. Information needed will include the title and author, plus anything else known
about the item. If there is a deadline, the date must be specified.The need to borrow from libraries outside SJVLS causes
this service to take longer.
